SAT Essay

The now-optional SAT Essay is new and has a different look and feel.  This three hour course will help students understand how their essay will be scored.  Students will learn how to read a published article, how to analyze the author's techniques and how to write a coherent essay about the published article.

Test Taking Strategies Course

This 8-hour course is proven to help students increase their SAT or ACT scores, simply by focusing on test taking tips and strategies.  Understanding the nature of the test, with its predictable presentations and question types enables students to ready themselves and lower their stress.  We pack this course full of tips including time-management, techniques to help when guessing is necessary for a student, how to recognize when to use a calculator and when to avoid it use.  The course helps students recognize the critical aspects of questions versus superfluous and distracting wording.


Comprehensive SAT Review Course

$899.00

This course provides 15 hours of math and 15 hours of reading/writing review. The math modules will review concepts for Heart of Algebra, Passport to Advanced Mathematics and Problem Solving & Data Analysis.  The module for Evidence-Based Reading & Writing covers all four sub-scores as measured by the SAT. Ample time is devoted to practice testing and test taking tips and strategies.  Enrollment in either the math or reading/writing modules can be accommodated.
